TCL QM8K — Google TV apps look noticeably cleaner than Apple TV (same content), even with identical picture settings
I've got a TCL QM8K 98" and I'm seeing a consistent difference: content played through the native Google TV youtube app looks cleaner/sharper than the exact same video played through my apple tv 4k.
What I've already checked and ruled out:
- Picture Settings (Sharpness, Noise Reduction, Picture Mode) are identical on both the Apple TV input and google tv os youtube input
- Apple TV is set to Match Content, Match Frame Rate, Chroma 4:4:4, 4K SDR
- HDMI Mode is set to Auto

This is so strange to me, I want my apple tv to work properly, I love the interface.
