Two Summer Rose Theories

The Facts:

1. Summer Rose confronted Salem directly sometime in the past.
2. The mission Summer died on was one she secretly went on with Raven; she lied and told Taiyang that it was a routine mission Ozpin was sending her on.
3. Salem looked noticeably different in the past compared to how she looks now (I'm primarily referring to the black veins on her face).
4. Salem used to just have Silver Eyed Warriors killed. Then, at some point she began turning them into intelligent, talking Grimm that are still completely loyal to her.
5. Salem described one of these intelligent, talking Grimm made from Silver Eyed Warriors as "an experiment."
6. Salem wanted Tyrian to bring Ruby to her alive.

The Implications:

1. The direct confrontation with Salem is the mission that Summer Rose and Raven secretly went on that resulted in Summer's death (implied but not confirmed).
2. It was the confrontation with Summer Rose where Salem learned that she could Grimm-ify Silver Eyed Warriors, and Summer has been turned into a Grimm (supposition by Ruby but not confirmed).
3. Salem wants to turn Ruby into a Grimm.

My Two Theories:

1. Summer Rose has been turned into a Grimm like the Hound was, but is "superior" to it. Where the Hound could barely talk, Salem's experiments and her experience with Cinder's Grimm-grafting have allowed her to "perfect" Summer's Grimm-ification. Summer is now blindly loyal to Salem, and thus evil, but her personality and intelligence has otherwise remained intact. Her appearance will be less monstrous, and she will be easily identifiable as a corrupted Summer Rose at a glance (maybe she also has a more monstrous 2nd form as well). When she inevitably fights the heroes, she will be preying on their emotional attachment to who she was before being Grimm-ified, trying to convince Ruby and Yang to join her on Salem's side, feigning shock that Team STRQ would try to hurt her, etc.
2. During her confrontation with Salem, Summer Rose assumed that her Silver Eyes could put Salem down for good. She was half-right: Her Silver Eyes completely destroyed Salem's body to the point that she couldn't regenerate. But because Salem is immortal, her soul sought out a new vessel - Summer Rose. And it took with it all the Grimm-ification she herself had previously undergone. Summer's mind/soul was either destroyed or buried underneath Salem's. Summer's body was corrupted into same Grimm-ified nature of Salem's original body, resulting in the physical differences between Salem's current appearance and her appearance in The Lost Fable. Seeing this playout in real time is why Raven became convinced that the fight against Salem was hopeless. Salem may use it to try to psych Ruby out during whatever final confrontation this series is building towards. If a part of Summer Rose is still in there, maybe Salem wanting Ruby alive is more than just Salem wanting to turn Ruby into a Grimm, and it may play a part in Salem's ultimate defeat.
