I [17F] and my boyfriend [18M] migbt break up over stress

Medium

What should I do to help save my relationship? My boyfriend and I have started a long-distance relationship due to him being in college in a city 3 hours away. When initially starting long distance, he had said he thinks I'm going to struggle with it the most. Once we had gone long distance, everything was fine until he started slipping behind because he refused to work with females in his class; the reason he did this is that he had assumed I would get mad if he didn't (his career field is female-dominated). We have had issues with him assuming my limitations and standards in the past, leading to a situation similar to now. My boyfriend tends to assume things and try to become the perfect boyfriend, causing him to stress and worsen health issues. Now, in present day, he is stressing again, and his health is declineing. While talking, I can presume he is doing it again; he explains that the long distance has become much harder for him, although we are both in school and both working towards educations. The small difference is that he goes to parties while I do not. I do not know what standard he might have set for himself or what I can do to help; we have established that he doesn't need to spend every moment fussing over me, and he is perfectly fine talking to girls with the limit of no spending nights, no one-on-one hangouts, and no cheating, obviously. I don't know what to do, and I need help asap.
