Honestly saw this coming… but damn Kiana
You could kinda tell with the way Kevin was moving that he wasn’t doing right by those guys. I remember seeing an episode from a while ago when Herm was like, “I’m still saving up for a MacBook…” and I was flabbergasted. Like uhhh I know I’ve seen Kevin in a private jet on ig… why is one of his funniest cast members having to SAVE UP FOR A THOUSAND DOLLAR DAMN COMPUTER?!? Two thousand maybe idk. The point being, something ain’t right here.
They’d always joke about not getting paid on time. They’d joke about Kevin exploiting Black comedians. He himself has joked about enjoying being the tolken Black person in the room 🤔🤔🤔 like ok, you’re saying the quiet part out loud. I don’t think he ever intended on treating them as equal parts of his production. Even though they were the reason the show got good. And him alluding to their schedules being too busy for KL stuff in the future was weird.
The episodes without Denny, Aaron, and Herm are barely watchable. Their chemistry was genuine and it felt safe because they seemed to really care about eachother. The content they were creating was so heart warming. As a woman, it’s so rare to find straight male entertainers on the internet who don’t at some point offend me. They’d slip up here and there, but they nevvvver felt unsafe. And they were hilarious.
Kevin really missed the mark here. Even the whole giving money away on the KLS2 episode felt passive aggressive, all things considered. And his explanation of the rotating panel…? You are moving like a real housewife bro. If you’re gonna do weird shit, say it with your chest. I am hoping the guys get together to create something without him.
You suck, Kiana. Do better.
Denny Love, Aaron Branch, & Herman Wrice, y’all have a forever fan in me. And this could very well be where your success story catapults 😤👌🏽
