The video is one take in Local PDF Studio, the offline PDF editor I build as a Chrome extension: fill a W-9, type a signature, set a password, flatten, save. Filling and signing were already there. The password step is new, AES-256 in the tab, and it changed what the extension stores.

Working copies autosave to IndexedDB so a document survives a tab close. A file that arrives protected is decrypted into that copy, so autosaving it would leave a readable copy of something its owner locked.

The rest, mostly in the Export options menu at the end of the video:
    - pages to PNG, JPEG or WebP, or the text to one .txt
    - six permission switches, printing as off, low resolution or on
    - "What's in this file": counts scripts, attachments, metadata, links and fonts before you strip any
    - edit or remove title, author and the other properties
    - flatten form fields, or every page to an image at 72, 150 or 300 DPI
    - page numbers with a live preview
    - blank page detection with a review grid
    - N-up, booklets, resize to A4, Letter, Legal or A3
    - word-level compare with a second PDF
    - the signature fonts in the Type tool
    - fixes: forms saved with Flatten off stay fillable, metadata survives flattening and encryption, laptop-width layout

Protection applies on Save PDF only, not split or extract downloads. Chrome 116+.
