Handhelds that run Love

Curious if any modern retro handhelds (Anbernic, etc.) can run Love games. I’m not a regular Android user so I’m not sure how easy it is to sideload apps like Love. Theres an older post on the Love forums on this same topic, but looking for updated info. Any recommendations on devices for this (ideally 16:9 aspect ratio)?

I know a cheap phone or steam deck can do the same, but I’m not really interested in either of those. My game is in the style of SNES/GBA era, so I thought being able to hand a friend a modern retro device running my game would be a super fun way to do play testing.
