Serious UTI after swimming in malvarossa

Are there others who got serious urinary infection symptoms after swimming in the sea recently? I have never gotten a uti after swimming but now i have one which wont go away with different kinds of antibiotics. It has been 3 weeks and it has been horrible 😵‍💫 i hear the water is contaminated, is it true that this is making so many girls sick now?
