Ghillie Suit + Mortar

With the Ghillie suit, it removes the kill cam.
If you are in a Ghillie suit and use a mortar, does it not show the kill cam?
I feel like a fob hidden in the woods + mortar + ghillie would make you very hard to detect where you are raining hell down from.
Does anyone know if this works this way?
