less influencers getting invited to NYFW

I know NYFW isn’t prestigious at all (none of these girls would be at PFW or Milan), but why have so many of the known nyc influencers not been invited this year to attend or be dressed by the commercial American brands? some of the girls dressed by larger brands this year are doing nothing? did something happen?
