What should you look for when replacing a lost or damaged college diploma?

A lot of people don’t realize how many details go into reproducing a college diploma that has been lost, damaged, or is being replaced for display.

The useful information usually includes the school name, graduate’s name, degree, graduation date, document size, and—when available—a photo or scan of the original.

Typography, spacing, layout, paper, seals, and other design details can make a big difference in the finished document.

We’ve been doing this type of specialty printing at DiplomasUSA.com since 2004 and have produced more than 25,000 documents. We also work with diploma, transcript, and envelope sets for replacement, novelty, commemorative, display, theatrical, and personal uses.

If anyone has questions about how replacement college diplomas are produced or what information is normally needed, I’m happy to share what we’ve learned over the years.
