| [18/F] have a crush on someone from my best friend group [19/F] and I want to know how to go about this without ruining my group? (Repost)

So 1, (18\F) have had a crush for about a month and I can't get her out of my mind. I'm in a 4 girl friend group that is literally my life. Let's call them jay (19/F) Anna(20/
F) and Tiger (19/F). We have all been friends for 3 years and we hang out every week. I've had a crush on jay for about a month and I have no idea how to go about it.

I talked to my friend Anna for advice, but she told me the best idea was to forget about it and try to find someone to distract me from my feelings. I think she's scared of messing up our friendship group which is completely valid. I just don't want to forget about this crush because I think it could be something great.

For a bit of background jay was in a really bad situation with someone that really messed up anything to do with the dating world but, she has said she wants to get back into it. She is also not very observant when to comes to flirting (we have to tell her when someone is flirting with her) and she is not really good with physical touch. (She's getting better)

I was in a not so good relationship that ended about 6 months ago, that being my first relationship. I have been ignoring my feelings because I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable, but these past two weeks without noticing, I've been following her around and buying things for her. I just don't know if 1) she thinks of me that way and 2) how I go about this.
