23 and dating older, I’m curious though, what do you actually wish younger guys understood?

Hey, I’m Dennis. 23ish.

I just came out of a long relationship and started dating older this year.

Not here looking for anyone but kinda also just trying not to be that guy who means well and still gets it wrong.

What’s one thing you wish a younger guy understood before he talked to you?

Could be tone, pacing, how he handles the age gap, what feels respectful vs. try-hard.

The honest version is preferred please.
