A shadow figure chased me in my dream

Recently, i had a major fallout with two of my male friends. They had betrayed me by starting my personal things with their group. I completely cut them out and was having trouble accepting what they did. But I’ve known in my gut that they were not good friends for a long time before this happened. They would simply male demeaning remarks about any new guy i met.

The dream
After the fallout, i had a dream about driving to a nice luxurious resort with my family. There i met a guy who also came with his parents. Our parents chose to give us some privacy and left the resort. When the guy and i were getting to know each other, this shadow dark figure was following us. It was very creepy. As I started running it kept chasing me and the guy. I was running within the resort.

It kind of made me think maybe it’s the right time that i cut them off and maybe sometime new is entering my life?
Also I’m pretty sure those guys are fuming that i cut them off. How do i ward off their negative energy from my life?
