Dear Muslims please read

I come from a long history of high academic achievements, deep religious knowledge and steong practicing background on both sides of the family. However, sadly the latter seems to be decreasing generation by generation

We as Muslims really need to study and understand our religion properly. We also need to be politically well aware. We should work towards being able to debate+defend our arguments with facts which also requires learning about the side of the argument we dont support so as to make our defense even stronger.

The situation of Muslims has gotten really bad in the past few decades. We're scared even to stand up for the right reasons because of the consequences we might face due to our religion. I understand most of us have have been discriminated in one way or the other just because of our name.

My advise( open to more suggestions):

1.Educate yourself both academically and in matters of religion.

2. Avoid Haram as much as you can. I don't mean day to day things like music, movies, shows, birthdays, etc. But if you can avoid those then by all means go for it.

3. Be aware of local and international news. Both general as well as political.

4. Upskill yourself

5. UNITE! We need all of us to be united instead of fighting against one another

6. This is very important. We also need to stop doing Hindu-Muslim politics, there are plenty of non muslims who are unbiased or at least dont unnecessarily hate us and we should also practice the same. We, the right people( irrespective of religious background) need all the support we can get against the atrocities of the oppressors( again, irrespective of religious &/or political background)

7. Worst case scenario. Prepare yourself either through academics/career/business to uproot your lives in India and settle abroad where you can get a citizenship. Because the atrocities and discrimination seem to be going from bad to worse.

8. Learn to speak up and debate but not without facts. Example if hijab, then why? If zabiha, then why? Avoid interest, why? Dont support ruling party, why? Etc

9. STOP doing stupid things like supporting Pakistan during an India vs Pakistan cricket match. You're just unnecessarily adding fuel to the fire

10. Get all your and your families documents in order if you can. I understand people may come from rural and underdeveloped areas where people like our grandparents barely had any documentation but still get these things in order. Time is of the essence

I'm open to suggestions. Im open to debating. But my ultimate goal is our betterment and safety. I'm someone whose loved India from the time I was a kid and it breaks my heart to see the state it has come to. Corruption is at an all time high, hate towards muslims is also kind of at an all time high or maybe it's just the IT cells and andhbhakts.

India has so much potential, its an amazing country, its our home, and we shouldn't have to leave it. Let's work towards a good future, towards a better India.
