Just finished the "Vaults of Terra" series and I got to say...

This put the name Chris Wraight on top of my list for best BL authors. It was so good! The ending actually made me a bit emotional. I rarely get those kind of emotions from BL books since i mainly read them for light entertainment in between other books but boy... I actually cared about the characters a lot and what would happen to them.

I liked that it was not so much a 'we are space marines and kill everyone haha' (don't get me wrong I love those) kind of read but more a: investigating & uncovering horrible truths, while making moraly grey decisions.. to put it lightly.

I also really like his writing. His prose is up there with some of the best current writers in my opinion. Chris managed to weave in some fitting metaphors about humanity into already satirical setting of Warhammer 40K that I really liked.

If you haven't read it yet I highly recommend it.
