LabRax mini rack for 2 BC250s
I have 2 bc250s that I've been using for local LLMs and wanted a better way of having both of them together and cool. I am very new to fusion360 so i am using a lot of references from other places. I do have to give a big shoutout to u/ExtremeAdventurous63 for the idea of using the labrax which i already have a few of from homelabbing.
I originally printed the NexGen3d case with this fan mount I have been happy with that and both boards already have those. I am going with a push/pull design where are is being pushed through the front and pulled out of the back which will keep the GPU side cool. Fresh air will be pulled from both sides of the rack which i plan to leave open.
The really challenging piece is to have this configuration I need to have the boards opposite of each other, which put the IO opposite, but more importantly it outs the power connectors oppose of each other. One is facing up and the other is facing down, I have been using a single 650W ATX PSU and its been running fine. I have an extender on the second 8pin which allows it to reach.
This is the initial idea so who knows if its even going to work. I still need to mockup where I am putting the PSU and i want to mount a small switch too, maybe add some rj45 keystones to make it look prettier. I am open to any CC anyone has.
