2003 Chrysler Voyager engine turns off but other electrical works

2003 Chrysler Voyager

symptom is, the engine shuts off with no error code

I can drive for 30-40 minutes and the engine shuts off. All the other electrical works (wipers. lights, radio, AC)

I shift to park or neutral and turn the key. it doesn't make a noise and wont start

Hours later, it starts and I got it home

I flick the key 3 times, and the only code it gives it the battery disconnected at some time, code P1684

I did replace the battery thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't

new battery and still wont start until hours later

The engine was replaced many miles ago by the previous owner

It has been running fine fore a decade with this engine

It has been hot, rainy and humid in Florida

it doesn't choke or show any weakness when running or starting

fluids are topped off

I am mechanically inclined, but with older cars, farm equipment, with no code needed to fix things

I have no clue where to go next
