Is it just me or have the sprites brought out more of the people who use others?

Don’t get me wrong the sprites are cute and all but I just feel like every time I meet new people, they only care about what kind of sprites I have instead of just wanting a genuine friendship. It just sucks. Once I add them, they never act like they want to play again or hit me up unless it's about the dang things!

I miss the old days of meeting new people and just gaming together. Of course, you would have some who would collect dust in your friends list, but there were times you’d meet some really cool people. I’ve met several people online who love to play the game sometimes they’re busy and not able to, which I get it. I will admit, with the few people I met, I have offered to give them sprites and help them build their collection, but there’s some that doesn’t reciprocate. At this point, I don’t even want to offer anymore.
