Get rid of USMC MOSs?

Genuine question, how would everyone feel about getting rid of all MOSs that aren’t 03 or adjacent. To start this off I was an 0331 so maybe I’m just biased and I have nothing but love for all my marine bros and broets in all support rolls but this has been kicking around in my head for years what if we made the marine corps only 03s and and get rid of all other MOSs on top of that fold all exclusive marine bases into the other branches and just spread out the divisions across other existing bases the ups would be that 03s would get the gear and support they need (new guns, new trucks, newish bricks. Instead of getting everyone else’s leftovers) the downs not everyone would be able to be marines if you weren’t willing to be an 03 and I personally know some bad mothers that just got shafted by the corps and couldn’t go infantry but thems the breaks. In my eyes it’s way more upsides than down but I’d love to hear everyone’s opinions on it, did I miss something? Did they try something like this before and it just didn’t work? Am I just biased and don’t understand that marine admins need to deal with marine infantry or everything falls apart?
