Hey all, been playing ice shot/shattering palm all league and invested multiple mirrors. Wanted to show what was possible at the top end, and share some tech for Ice shot and Shattering palm.

Why gemling?

quality scaling = buff reservation efficiency, Ice shot movement reduction penalty/Shattering Palm AOE, crit immunity, reduced mana cost, Frost wall 156% damage as extra cold.

Ice shot:

Reach 100+m dps easily. As per video, I changed to a 1D weapon with no ring with 1/10 of my tooltip dps, and 1 click of the ice shot did 7.5m damage to the boss. (I hit about 3 times/second)

Eventide Petals Amulet: Creates Ice crystals which I believe ice shot chains from. I tested without Cadiro's Gambit and frost wall, and Ice shot seemed to be hitting bosses multiple times still. Use Fork + Ricochet(or get chain from terrain from gloves + quiver corrupt).

Frost wall: Ice shot might be chaining from frost wall? even without tornado shot, once frost wall pops, bosses with millions of hp instantly die.

100% chance not to remove charges on Barrage (23% quality barrage, 14% on boots, 20% notable effect on a jewel so Fabled stag passive gives 12%). This enables us to have permanent uptime on charges, so every barrage gives x8 ice shot, and with Olroth's Conviction each barrage gives us 3 uses.

Shattering Palm:

Using Grim pillars (lowest level possible) on Cast on minion death, as well as Wolf Pack with Minion instability and Minion Pact II on shattering palm allows every use of shattering palm to spawn grim pillars. Shattering palm causes all the grim pillars to explode. This makes mapping significantly more comfortable as unlike COC, you don't need to hit anything to spawn these crystals.

Even with a 100ex Duality and 1D Grip of Kulemak ring, I'm still doing upwards of 5m+ per click of shattering palm (can't really test since the bosses don't have enough hp).

Budget Tips:

1: For Ice Shot, go lioneye's glare + Grip of Kulemak with -cold resistance. This is about -90% cold resistance on enemies. That stacks with Cold Exposure linked to Midnight Zenith, for a total of -100++ resistance. Just the combo of this 2 alone should allow you to clear all content easily. You don't even need to use barrage since Lioneye's glare already causes repeats.

2: For Shattering palm, Just use duality 15% crit variant and grip of kulemak too. Consider ward stacking instead of ES if it makes it easier to sustain the cost of Grim pillars.

3: Consider Tame Beast with Haste if you'd prefer more movement speed.

4: Hysseg's Claw with Pounce makes enemies take \~70% inc damage, might be useful in early game.

5: remember to balance all support gem colours

6: Pounce with Brutus' Brain + knockback and Blind is pretty useful if you have a gem slot. Blinds and pushes enemies away from you. Once you it up, you don't even need to have a talisman equipped.

Some general Tips to scale the build to multimirror:

1: A helmet with Raven-touched Thaumaturgic generator/Zarokh's gift/Paragon, +Spirit Implicit corruption, Atziri's soul core of devotion (spirit% per corrupted item). Gives about 50+ spirit!

2: Low Life with Atziri's Communion for more damage

3: Get a triple/duo flat ele + elemental dmg% bow if possible. I have enough spirit to use Trinity, but I'm unable to balance it with my Phys bow.

4: 5 Socket Morrior's Invictus (All elemental resist, global armour/eva/es, Spirit) are the highest value modifiers

5: Consider a Loreweave with \~90+% rarity if you don't want to get rarity on other gear pieces.

6:If you opt for Legacy of Crown of Thorns instead of Wanderlust for chill immunity, then you can travel by the bottom instead and take Staunch Deflection and place the Timeless jewel there instead
