PS3 sign in help!

Hello! So I recently got my PS3 back out and tried signing into my dads PlayStation account to use Spotify etc and it keeps throwing me into a loop of needing to do a device setup password I’ve been trying to open the link on my phone but stays on the blue spinning wheel forever! How did you all do it? I did try logging into mine but same thing happened! Any advice?
Thank you!
