To all the students who are bored! (Please help your juniors)

Inter Doubt

Since all of you guys are free and extremely bored, please reply to this post and help others!! 😭😂

Doesn’t matter what score you’re expecting, even if you’re not aiming for AIRs or 40+, any experience/advice is genuinely appreciated!

I’d really love to know your CA Inter preparation + revision strategy in detail, especially:

  1. Timeline & revision: How many months did you study, when did you actually start revising, and did you revise simultaneously while completing lectures or wait until the entire syllabus was over? How many revisions did you realistically manage?

  2. Backlogs: How did you deal with the constant cycle of pending lectures, revisions and new portions? Did you ever feel like you were falling behind, and what actually helped you get back on track?

  3. Both groups vs single group: When did you decide whether to attempt both groups or one group? What was the deciding factor, and looking back, would you make the same decision?

  4. Subjects that need the most attention: How did you manage Audit, Tax and Law, especially the subjects that require a lot of retention? For anyone who hasn’t completed Audit yet, which chapters would you prioritise if you were in that situation? (Asking for myself 🥲)

  5. Revision resources: Did any revision videos, summary lectures, ABC analysis, RTP/MTP/PYQs, important-question lists or teacher-specific resources genuinely make a difference? Or did you find self-revision more useful?

  6. MCQs: How did you prepare for MCQs? Is scoring 25+ realistically possible, and how much time did you dedicate specifically to MCQ practice?

  7. Law & Audit: What was your approach to remembering provisions, writing answers and retaining the huge amount of theory? Any particular technique that actually worked for you?

  8. The things that actually worked: What was the most unhinged / unconventional thing you did during preparation that somehow worked incredibly well? 😭 And on the other hand, what did you waste a lot of time on that you wish you had avoided?

  9. Reality check: What do you wish someone had told you before starting your first revision? And if you could restart your preparation from day one, what would you do differently?

Also, please feel free to share any personal experience, mistakes, strategies or advice that I haven’t specifically asked about. Even something that sounds small or obvious might genuinely help someone else preparing for the attempt.

Basically, tell us what actually worked for you, not the perfect strategy you planned but never followed. 😭

Would really appreciate everyone taking a few minutes to share their experience! ❤️
