Imma do something drastic

Okay so I am not a baseball player in real life but I love sports games. But this damn game is gonna make me commit a crime of some nature. Like it's driving me insane.

I have played MLB for a while and year after year I run into the same issue. The difficulty rating In this is all over the place. Rookie is way too easy, like repetitive meatballs with no balls, All star is a great way for my batting average to plummet. So naturally you would think Veteran would be perfect...right.

Oh no this might be the most evil difficulty of all for non baseball playing players

They go from throwing 3 obviously out of the box throws to what can only be described as an absolute perfect upper inside jam ball. Now I know what's going to come next " dude just don't swing at the jam ball" I would do that if the next two throws he's going to throw out weren't on the line strikes.

I get hot at times against certain teams that raise my batting average. Then I face a group of pitchers that paint the corner and throw inside and outside breaking balls mixed with on the line fastballs, all of which will jam me perfectly if I swing. God forbid I actually get a solid hit JUST TO HAVE THE OUTFIELDER STEAL A HOME RUN FROM ME.

fielding is so easy that it actually angers me that it means roughly nothing for your movement up and down the rosters. The only thing this game cares about is the batting average.

I can't I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship the way I keep coming back hoping things will be different. Or that I will go on a tear and start having fun again.

Why....why is this game like this. I feel like it's impossible to play this game unless I dedicate my entire life to getting better at it and only it.
