I have some questions

Now I haven't even made the OF account yet. I am so very green about SW, caming, and frankly, porn in general. I am a 30 year old female, looking to embrace my sexuality, sensuality, and knack for service and fun. And I figure, why not get paid. I'm trying to catch up looking through this thread and others and I'll soon be in a new apartment to explore more and explore openly. In addition, my full time job the past 10 years has been marketing, social media, minor video editing etc.

Now with that context the questions:

1. From my understanding OF has two ways to split your profile. Paid and Unpaid. Paid means monthly subscribers to all your content? And free means you can pay wall certain items?

2. Why use platforms like FB, IG, & X to promote and truly how do you? They treat nipples like the Devil himself! It's so much work for somewhere very prude. I know some people are making it work there. But are you using a LinkTree or something? Or like you're just very cute, make suggestions, and hope they figure it out? Is it suggested in the bio?

2A. If you do use these platforms, how do you block your family or friends from finding you? And if you dont (the confidence and strength in you!) Please share how you managed!

3. Should I host a separate website? Maybe photos/prints to sell... is that how you can sell underwear because Sniffr seemed dead.

4. Alot of the subs say not to spam or promote yourself but I do see the gifs with the person's handle. Are customers familiar with that pattern and just figure they'll find you on OF?

5. Now talking to men...is really necessary? 😅 It's genuinely the only part I dont like.

5A. Lets say I start free: the ideal scenario is someone sees a video I post on OF, and dms me to pay for more stuff? Or they only pay for custom stuff?

6. Tattoos and faceless creators: how do you manage?

7. What are some niche phrasing I can start googling to better build a persona? I am a educated, gamer, girlie, soft witch, part-time stud, bisexual, chubby black woman. Where do I go? Or should I kinda put each one in and post to each reddit group that I apply too?

7A. Does reddit get mad if you post the same most to different threads?

I hope this doesnt come off rude or to naive. I just feel overwhelmed, but excited to learn! Any ideas or guidance is genuinely appreciated.
