This time I started off with this physical Mega Lucario Z team that focused on setting him up with Justified and Beat Up. Why did I decide to do something stupid like this? Because it was a weird and funny gimmick using a new mega lol. I chose to use Mega Lucario Z over regular Mega Lucario (despite it being the physical attacker of the 2) for the speed stat and the little bit of extra survivability with Aura Guard. It surprisingly kind of worked up until Ultraball 2, but 1 it was really hard to keep Lucario alive (even with all of this support), 2 even at +4 he was still struggling to take KOs on some common key threats, and 3 Talonflame and Weavile were taking most of the wins on their own without Lucario anyways lol. Despite all of its issues, it was kind of a fun gimmick team to run.

After hitting a wall, I switched to this half Perish Trap and half Psyspam team (I'm sorry lol). Honestly, I felt like Mega Gengar was really good even without going for Perish Trap, and Politoed with Life Orb is able to pick up some crazy surprise KOs. You would think this team is really weak into Kingambit (you would be correct), but Armarouge and Incineroar are usually able to clean it up pretty easily if positioned properly. It's a team that took some time to get used to piloting, but once I got the hang of pivoting, I found it was really fun to use.

I'm looking for more weird team archetypes to try, so any suggestions would be appreciated as well as any feedback to improve the teams above 😊.
