How much does it cost to replace the hybrid battery on Camry and Rav4?

Between the up front 3k premium for a hybrid vs gas then the hybrid battery replacement cost after the warranty runs out, that is almost 10k more than the gas version. Not many people are going to drive that much to make that up in gas savings.

I barely drive compared to most. Less than 7k miles a year. Now if the hybrid battery replacement was less than 3k, okay. But its not. It is a lot more especially for a rav4.
