[TOMT][movie/tv][80s/90s]

I've spent years looking for information on this movie. I only remember a scene. Family having some kind of BBQ or backyard party. Bunch of kids. One or more kids are running laps around the house, running in the front door out the back door and around the side back to front. I think they're chasing a dog, a golden retriever or similar size dog. Mom brings a tray of lemonade out for the party and shuts the glass door behind her. Dog gets out the back door with the mom, and kid comes barreling behind and crashes through the glass door. I vividly remember a camera focus on the glass shards flying into the yard. I believe the kid ends up dying.

Would have seen this on cable television in the late 90s or early 2000s and I believe it was an older movie at the time I saw it.
