Haven't Played Counter-Strike Since The End of CS:GO (Please help me!)

Hey guys!

As you can gather from the title. I haven't played CS, since CS:GO became CS2. That's not a sleight to CS2, although it seemed a bit lazy in my honest opinion, as someone who grew up as a kid in 1.6 LANS, played CS:GO professionally.

But... Real life hit me, getting a job, working full time. All my working hours are spent in front of the PC/Laptops, so it's not exactly a wind-down activity. I do have some old high-school friends who play the game relgiously, but they were losers and I've had my fair share of TeamSpeak fucking about, but joining these guys' Discord is creepy, not saying you can't have online friends, just saying as 28 year olds, it's inappropriate who be playing with 17 year old girls. That's why I stay away from them.

With no one to play to, I just went on and started playing again, it felt like CS:GO, it was fun for the most part. The maps are there, weird-looking. I think Phoon would get pretty pissed.

Anyways, I was looking for someone to talk to that has experience in the CS2 competitive scene, if they could assist me in adapting to this newer game. I'd really appreciate it. Don't worry, I am not a noob, I've been playing Counter-Strike for 16 years since 1.6.
