Ted/Michelle after Season 4 Episode 6 of Ted Lasso

I don’t know what gives me the ick about their relationship at this point. I adore this show and my wife and I have been watching since day one. But something just feels wrong about Michelle in general, the back and forth with Ted in the original three seasons worked well I thought, always left you with a feeling of their history which is good.

However, with season four, just the abruptness of the let’s all move to London together. Then the Michelle not being around for like four episodes. Now we are here where they finally have a discussion I would have imagined they would have had back in Kansas when Ted returned. Putting Dr. Jacob stuff aside, which I think ultimately Jacob is a piece of shit, something just still feels off to me about her role here. I know the intent here is that they are trying to coparent and she is along for ride but couldn’t she have just stayed in Kansas and Henry made the move for this adventure with his dad? Then she came to visit during Christmas and New Years? That feels much better continuity wise from a story perspective. She feels like she is there for the Ted history piece which I get but just cut her loose at this point. I don’t know man, been thinking about this way to much probably. But it just all feels so strange to me and I can’t put my finger on it.
