Capitano is heavily heavily inspired by anakin skywalker/ darth vader.

As someone who read SW books and comics I have a great knowledge of anakin and Capitano.

Firstly, darth vader was introduced way before anakin was in 1977 SPOILER! He lived and died at the end as darth vader, an honorable death for his son and people just like Capitano, who was introduced and "died" as Capitano an honorable death. Then came the prequels and we saw anakin's story and I think this will happen with Capitano too as they showed his death as Capitano and will have his story completed later.

Secondly, the design is so similar as Capitano/vader both of them wear full black suits because of their burned/disfigured faces and bodies, both had blue eyes but when they transformed had red eyes (Capitano in his short animation had red glowing eyes, darth vader also has big red glowing eyes in many designs).

Thirdly, psychologically both anakin and tharin were good people and heros of Khaenri'ah/ the republic, until the cataclysm/order 66. After these events they transformed, anakin into vader, well Capitano still doesn't have his backstory revealed yet but we know he became Capitano after it but not exactly when.

And they both became evil (yes Capitano is evil he had done so many evil shit). They both were the strongest and because of their Disfigurations they were weakened and never got to their full potential, and still were the strongest in the fatui/empire.

They both forsake their old names when vader told Luke he is no longer anakin and Capitano told the Traveler he is no longer thrain. And they only removed the mask for Luke/Traveler, (and Capitano in the artifact lore showed it to one soldier).

And danica/vesna as Capitano's apprentice reminded me of Ahsoka tahno/Galen Marek.

It was said in the latest trailer that Capitano had trained the two danica and vesna since they were children and they bicker all the time, Ahsoka and Galen Marek are both enemies in the light and dark sides of the force.

\+ Vader after his death returned as a force ghost/soul, that's so similar to the the ley lines souls.

So comrades Capitano gonna have his prequels soon, he will return with his backstory and complete arc of his own.

Capitano playable soon.

Capitano is literally darth vader
