Turned my side project into a boilerplate — validating demand before I finish polishing it

Spent the last few weeks building SmartShop: a .NET 8 e-commerce API with AI-generated product descriptions and a catalog chatbot, plus an Angular admin dashboard. Fully deployed on Azure so it's a real, working product, not just a mockup.

Instead of spending more weekends polishing it before anyone's seen it, I put up a pre-order page to see if there's actual demand before I sink more time into making it "sellable" (removing my branding, writing full docs, etc).
