Is it expected that one person pays for the whole bill on a date?

Recently, I watched a YouTube Short where two actors, Robert and Zendaya, were asked a question: “You should always split the bill on a date.”

Robert strongly agreed. But somehow, in the comments section, people were calling him a “princess,” a “red flag,” etc.

Same type of comments I saw where a woman is proposing a man.

It hurts the feelings of online women. Lol.

I didn’t understand why.
