using “play anywhere” on airpods for meditation, if i fall asleep, will my physical hatch still go off in the morning for my alarm?

basically what the title says.

my partner and i both use the hatch. i want to listen to a meditation to fall asleep and he doesn’t, so i am using “play anywhere” and using my airpods through the app. if i fall asleep while it’s playing through my AirPods, will my my physical hatch alarm still go off in the morning or will the alarm only play through my headphones?
