We’re looking for new members to help us behind the scenes of r/Episode. And this time, we’re not just looking for new moderators!

We’re offering a few different ways to get involved and help the sub grow into an engaging and positive environment for both authors and readers.

All roles require Discord, as this will be our main way of communicating and coordinating with each other.

🛡️ Join the Moderator Team

We’re looking for active and reliable community members to join the r/Episode moderation team.

As a moderator, you’ll help review posts, enforce subreddit rules, answer ModMail, and keep the community organized. But we’re not only looking for people to handle day-to-day moderation. We want team members who will bring their own ideas and help us continue improving r/Episode.

Previous moderation experience is not required, but is appreciated. Applicants must be published Episode authors.

📚 Join The Episode Archives Team

We’re creating a new team dedicated to The Episode Archives, a fan-run website for discovering Episode stories across different genres and categories.

You’ll help add new stories recommended by the community, categorize them, and keep the website organized and up to date. Experience with websites, design, or content creation is welcome.

📖 Join the Reader Panel

We’re putting together a new Reader Panel for r/Episode!

Panel members will read and evaluate stories for r/Episode community events and showcases, such as new and completed story selections and themed recommendations**.** The panel will work together to develop its own scoring system and determine which stories make the final selections.

You’ll also work alongside the moderator and Archives teams to coordinate results and help more stories get discovered by the community.
