Wait staff how do you feel about customers who are shy/don't talk much?

I've always been curious, obviously I still do my best to be kind, I say please and thank you, always tip and if it's busy I never ask about time or anything. I know me being like this contributes alot to my not having anyone friends, but idk if it makes wait staff dislike me more too like other people do.
