Did you regret getting a laparoscopy?

Need info!

Hi all. Quick background - I’m almost 42F, partner is 46M. Four retrievals, three fully medicated FETs with euploid embryos. Two implantation failures and one chemical. Two months of Lupron before third FET. Also dealing with MFI. I’ve had an HSG, SIS, hysteroscopy, immune testing. Receptiva score was 3.8 for BCL6. I have some minimal endo symptoms but nothing too intense.

We have one euploid embryo left. I just had a video consult with an endo specialist. He let me know that the research doesn’t show higher live birth rates post lap, but he’s willing to do the procedure for me. He said he will excise any endo and do another hysteroscopy as well. He seemed thorough and knowledgeable and nice.

I think a lap is the logical next step, but I’m also nervous. General anesthesia, recovery time… what if a lap somehow makes things work? If Lupron didn’t work, maybe a lap won’t either? Or maybe I don’t have endo at all?

I’m spiraling a little. Anyone regret getting a lap?
