Recommendations: Sling, Wrap, or Carrier for Newborn that fits Different Body types

0-3 months

Hi! I'm due in November with our second. I'm looking for recommendations for a sling, wrap, or carrier that can accommodate different body types/sizes of the wearer - something different than we already have. We currently have a Moby wrap, Lilababy, and a Baby Bjorn carrier One that we were gifted with our first. I'm into the idea of a sling, but I've never used one.

My husband is interested in the Moby Easy wrap (soft but hopefully quicker than traditional Moby), I'm interested in a sling (a soft and cost-effective brand). We've been recommended the Wild Bird Aerial and it looks great - easy and soft - but I don't think it would work for all three of us as it's size-dependant. I also thought about the Ergo baby embrace, but I want something with a little soft support for their head, like a wrap.

For size context, my husband, mother-in-law, and I want to have a baby-wearing option for the first 12 weeks as we all split child care. I'm 5'6" and a 14/L, my husband is 5'8" and a size large, and my mother in law is petite - 5'2' and a small/medium. My husband and I can share very easily, but it takes some adjustments so also fit my MIL.

My favorite has been the lilababy, but only once she was maybe 4 months old - it's too large for an infant (older model). My husband always loved the baby bjorn for its ease of use. And, we both used the moby, but found it to be a lot of work for a trip to the store (I would put it on before leaving the house). Also, my MIL liked the moby ok, but would feel a little scared that she'd slip out the bottom. I'd love something that has a bit more ease of use.

Thanks for any advice! Also, I understand we might just need to buy a few different things and see what works. There are SO many options. Hoping to narrow it down!
