So proud of US!

Baby had his nine month appointment today and doctor said he was perfect! So, so proud of both of us!! From a stressful delivery (failed epidural), to postpartum complications a week later (lots of trauma on my end during/after the hospitalization) - it took about a month to finally get breastfeeding started. We had latch issues as well as supply issues at the start.

We never gave up - obviously supplemented with formula and pumped milk in the beginning. From that month on though he has been exclusively breastfed (and yes we have introduced solids as well.) He is a happy, healthy, and thriving perfect boy!! He has been above the 99th percentile for length since 2 months and about 75th/80th percentile for weight as well!

Just sending solidarity for anyone struggling in their breastfeeding journey!! You are strong and you can do it!!
