Midhurst - tell me the truth?

Hi all. My husband and I currently live in Farnham, having followed the A3 from Clapham, to Surbiton and then Farnham. We want more countryside vibes and have found a cottage in Midhurst we are looking at. I’m interested in what Midhurst is like from anyone who has lived there or is familiar with it?
