Any AI success stories?

Saw my oncologist today. At my last visit, she ordered blood work and said she’d Rx tamoxifen after my IUD was removed.

Based on my blood work, she said that an aromatase inhibitor makes much more sense.

I’m kinda freaked out because I’ve read every AI horror story imaginable. I had made peace with the idea of tamoxifen, but only because it sounded more tolerable.

Has anyone been on an AI and NOT had miserable side effects?
