How to keep encouraging my wife to continue to take charge
Wife and I have been married for over 10 years. Our relationship has been relatively good my biggest concern I’ve always had is her ability to draw boundaries and take charge with those people around her, specifically her family and sometimes her job, that being said I am very proud of her because here lately she has been doing just that. It has significantly boosted her self esteem and increased her motivation in all aspects.
I am concerned, however, she may regress because she fears ostracizing people by drawing too many boundaries and I’ve told her boundaries are healthy if someone can’t stand it and walks away then they are not taking your thoughts or feelings in the consideration and they do not care.
The advice that I am seeking is, how do I continue to encourage her to keep taking charge? She is a wonderful mother and a devoted wife. I firmly believe she is a natural born leader because I’ve seen her be assertive in crisis like situations and she always thrives, but her family is toxic and they will try to drag her down. Thanks in advance
