Idk if anyone here has also played the game or watched the anime but- the city is controlled by corrupt businesses. It runs on shady deals. The main reason the characters you follow can’t change anything and meet a terrible fate is because they’re action types, like Javier- I 100% think if Lloyd was incarnated into the universe, they’d cure V, get V as their bromance bodyguard, and then proceed to run the city. Given he’d have the same advantages as before- deep knowledge of the world and the lore by consuming media, access to the worlds main power system through a skill tree, and the extra bonus of his architect and shady dealings skills- they wouldn’t stand a chance.

He’d have the various gangs of the city building apartments for him like the elves and orcs and such.

He’d have Adam Smasher working as a glorified bulldozer after one meeting

And he’d either turn dogtown into an actual paradise or create his own estate in the badlands

Hell- I can see him curing V by making a deal with the spooky rogue AI from beyond the black wall to make them fix V while keeping Johnny around so they could become the OP cyber psycho he’d need- then proceed to mostly make them do construction work.

It would be beautiful.

Been playing cyberpunk while re-reading greatest estate developer- Realized Lloyd would dominate
