Howdy everyone! Today’s the day: AltStore Classic 2.3 is now available to everybody!

With this release, leave the computer behind and enjoy AltStore Classic all on-device. That’s right: for the first time ever, you can install and refresh apps without running back to your computer!

After a one-time setup, Remote AltServers let AltStore Classic handle installing and refreshing apps completely on-device. And if you’re using AltStore PAL, it’s even easier: you can get started with Remote AltServers without a computer at all!

AltStore Classic 2.3 also comes with a pretty significant glow-up, bringing an all-new Liquid Glass interface throughout the app.

Remote AltServers wouldn’t be possible without a ton of help from the incredible SideStore team, and we’re extremely grateful for all their work making this possible.

We’d also like to give a shoutout to a few first-time contributors who helped us squash issues leading up to this release:
• BreezeDelegate
• Calvin-Zikakis
• sshane
• catdkny

And speaking of squashing issues, AltStore Classic 2.3 includes fixes for several common server and app-refreshing problems, making AltStore more reliable whether you’re refreshing at home or away from your computer.

There’s plenty more packed into 2.3, so check out our announcement here: [https://bsky.app/profile/altstore.io/post/3mviuyfgh3k2q](https://bsky.app/profile/altstore.io/post/3mviuyfgh3k2q)

💚 Happy sideloading!
