My app is live, but I’m getting almost no organic traffic. What am I missing?

I recently launched a mobile app on both the App Store and Google Play, but there’s almost no movement so far: very few impressions, page views, or downloads.
I know ASO involves things like keywords, screenshots, localization, and conversion optimization, but I honestly don’t know what I should focus on first or how to approach each part properly.
For those who’ve been through this, what would you do first to start getting consistent organic impressions and downloads?
