Im convinced there's 2 levels of octane learning

discussion

I octane learn almost every tank. I have a drive that allows me to do 75 for 10 min pretty consistently. I've become extremely familiar with how it feels learned vs unlearned.

After filling up a full tank, it is always significantly slower. Then once learned, it will go to 19psi. Usually it sticks for about 3 or 4 power cycles, and then goes back to 15 PSI. Occasionally, when going back to 15 PSI, the extra timing is clearly still tuned into it. It doesn't show the extra boost on the screen but it 100% is still there even though it only says 15. When it completey un learns there is a much more significant difference and it feels much slower.

Just some thoughts from me after getting out of my car today and it showing 15 psi even thought it was 100% learned still.

TLDR: I think elantra N can still be octane learned when it only shows 15psi - this condition only happens after it was just actually octane learned (showing 16-19psi)

Sorry I know there's a million threads but this seemed somewhat new
