Does anyone else actually trust in Toby?

General Toby Fox criticism

I see a lot of posts talk about criticisms with the story, pacing issues or that the mysteries we have stacked up simply can’t be solved in the remaining chapters, or how Toby can’t simply appease *everyone* and these are all fair criticisms.

But I genuinely believe that whatever Toby is cooking up will all make sense in the end.

He said so himself: “by the end of Chapter 7 I’m 100% sure you’ll understand why I feel confident about the way I’m telling this story. Don’t worry about the pacing until it’s over!”

Whatever he has planned, I think it’s genuinely going to be epic, and everything we’ve seen so far will make more sense than we could ever imagine right now.

He knows his fandom, and knows how divided we are about certain things. For him to be so confident, it’s gotta mean something.

Also a side note but I was thinking about the weird route essentially being the horror / game breaking route. Chapter 5 weird route was bad (as in creepy) but consider how dark and creepy the whole story of the True Lab was when you really think about it, and that was mandatory for a pacifist run. The good run!

Makes me kinda scared in the best way for what’s in store for us

(Reposting because this was removed from r/Deltarune for some reason even though the discussion was great!)
