Rivian Care cost after purchase

I know many like extended warranties aren't worth it, and I tend to agree. However, being a risk averse person purchasing a first Gen product, I'm contemplating it.

Would like more time to gather data about what repair costs are going to look like for R2 but know it's never going to be cheaper to buy an extended warranty than now when the vehicle is new (VIN assigned, no scheduled delivery yet).

Wondering if anyone has purchased rivian care on any R1 product to give me an idea of cost after getting some years and miles on it.

Not sure if it's been shared here or not but for 4 additional years on the vehicle service contract on a launch edition with $1000 deductible, it's showing $2,436.
