Hello friends! I’m sharing this as much for myself as anyone else. If I write it and read through it a few times, maybe I’ll absorb the information, lol!

I’ve started holiday shopping because I have to spread it out or it ends up on a credit card, which I hate. As I’ve begun shopping, I have cancelled several beauty boxes. It needed to happen anyway. I have too much stuff. I feel a bit hoarder-y with all my beauty stuff.

ANYWAY… I think FGF is so smart in their approach because the day comes and you think, “It’s only shipping and handling!” So you maybe you buy something you wouldn’t buy if it was at a store. And I’d just like to point out that what you spend per month for four items in four weeks is more than an Allure box, more than either Ipsy bag, more than Dermstore, and etc. We pay more for less than we get in any of those boxes. And I usually like the contents of those boxes more.

If you can afford it all, holy cow, I fully support people giving themselves some retail therapy if it makes their lives better or even just offers “fun mail”. However, if, like me, you need to tighten up to prepare for the holidays, FGF might deserve a look. I’m so glad it exists. I’ll still get some stuff if it looks good (Kiehls will always be a yes!), but I’m trying to remind myself that it’s S&H times FOUR OR FIVE WEEKS, depending upon how the days fall in a month.

Now I’m going to read this to myself a few times!
