Can I travel to another Schengen country on the same day of arrival?

Hi All!

I just recently got my Schengen visa through Netherlands & i was initially planning to stay for 10 days (5 in Netherlands & 5 in Spain).

However i just saw that there is a game in Barcelona the next day of my travel date, so i was wondering if I could go from Netherlands to Spain immediately on the same day; spend 5 nights in Barcelona and then come back to Netherlands to spend the remaining 5 days. Could this become an issue in anyway?

This is my first Schengen visit visa & it’s Single Entry as well. I dont want to be flagged for visa shopping nor do i want to get into trouble while entering Schengen.
