Dinner: Spicy chicken soup

I started dating a guy and I finally understand what it means to date a secure person and things are going great. There’s just one catch: he’s enm and he’s married. I swore I’d never be secondary ever again except for the completely exceptional guy and so far I have no reason to think that isn’t him. It’s been a lovely antidote to constant bs trying to date. I know it’s not what I want and it won’t be forever but I’m enjoying our fun dates till I’m ready to move on. I want what he cannot offer so eventually we will stop seeing each other. He knows how I feel about it and he’s very supportive of me dating other people and keeping good boundaries for my time and emotional energy in order to be available for what I ultimately want. I’ve met his wife, she’s lovely and fully on board so don’t worry ladies.

Being treated so wonderfully by him has made the juxtaposition with the guy at work, who will now be known as: skid mark, stark and depressing. He loses his temper and blows up but only when we are alone on calls. He’s completely out of control screaming and cussing. There’s no excuse. I escalated it and now they say he’s walking on eggshells around me, he probably didn’t know it was making me uncomfortable, etc. Every day at work is stressful. I feel like I have no support and I’m struggling. I’m so tired of the boys club bs and I wish I never had to go back there.

He’s great and my coworker is awful
